Backroom Circuits designs and manufactures hardware for Eurorack and pro-audio integration. Our focus is signal integrity, high slew rates, infinite resolution, and long-term reliability. Our architecture is built to bypass common points of hardware failure. We enforce strict design rules across all products: audio or cv signals are never passed directly through potentiometers, ground planes for signals and UI/LED indicators are isolated, panel graphics are laser-engraved , and high quality component selection is vital.

We initially planned to outsource PCBA manufacturing. However, unpredictable import tariffs and broker fees made offshore production unviable for our target price points. To maintain quality control, we pivoted to domestic manufacturing, investing in our own in-house SMD reflow and laser engraving equipment. Integrating this infrastructure delayed our initial production timeline, but ensures long-term sustainability. We eliminate overhead costs that do not directly contribute to circuit performance or build quality.
